Service Terms and Conditions

  1. Free-To-Use Router
    • All Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) services include a free-to-use Gigabit Wi-Fi router provided by Swift Fibre (Pty) Ltd.
    • Please note that this router remains the property of Swift Fibre and must be returned upon cancellation or termination of your service.
    • A Delivery & Setup Fee of R250.00 applies to Openserve-based connections.
  2.  Targeted Lead Times for Service Providers
    • he following are estimated installation and activation timeframes per last-mile provider. These timeframes are indicative only — Swift Fibre cannot guarantee activation within the stated periods, as timelines are subject to the last-mile provider’s scheduling and network availability:

      • Openserve: 2-15 Working Days
      • Swift Fibre: 2-5 Working Days
    • Swift Fibre will liaise with all service providers to expedite activations wherever possible; however, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control (e.g. weather, infrastructure availability, or access constraints).ol.
  3. Activation Fees
    • SwiftFibre
      • Month-to-Month Contract: R 500.00 Activation Fee
      • 12-Month Contract: No once-off activation fee (an early-termination fee applies if the contract is cancelled before completion of the term)
    • Openserve
      • Activation fees are included under all 12-Month Contract options.
      • Line Migration fees are charged at R500.00.
      • Line Regrade Fees are charged at R175.00.
  4. Cancellation
    • One (1) calendar month’s written notice is required for all cancellations.
    • Cancellation requests must be sent to: cancelations@swiftfibre.co.za
    • Accounts must be fully settled before a cancellation can be processed.
    • Early Termination: If a service is cancelled before the end of the contract term, an early-termination fee will apply.
    • If an account is suspended or terminated due to non-payment, a R 1 250.00 cancellation fee will be charged.
  5. Billing
    • All services are billed in advance.
    • Pro-rata charges will apply from the date of activation up to the start of your first full billing cycle.
    • Monthly invoices are due as per your selected payment terms.
    • Service will remain active only while the account is in good standing.
